I think this book is very interesting and hilarious. The book is about a pigeon that doesn't want to take a bath. The flies stat following him, but then they left because they thought that he smelt bad. My favorite part of the book was when the flies started following him and then they flew away. I recommend this book to anyone who likes picture books and likes drawings. ~Review by KEM

This book holds many epic stories of gods and goddesses, titans and monsters!! These stories start with Geae (Mother Earth ) and ending with the story of Helen (the lethal  beauty). My personal favorite part of the book the story of Hermes, but guess what? I'm not telling why! (hee hee) I think this book is great for people who are interested in Greek Mythology. ~Review by WS

This book is extraordinary.  It holds secrets you never knew, a new world only unexplored by you, stories so real you  are inside along with others who have read before you. My favorite part of the book is the part when they talk about Poseidon the god of the sea and earthquakes. This book contains facts about Gaia, Uranus, Cronus, Zeus and more. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of Greek Mythology and bad pictures.   ~Review by SC

This book will blow you away because of it’s drawings. To summarize the book, it is about a boy who has never had a Christmas. One day, the boy got sick. When he was in bed, his mom got him a baby tree. They got a lot of cranes and candles. The boy made a wish for a samurai kite. My favorite part of the book was when they decorated the tree. Just because it looked so astonishing. I recommend this book to young kids who like reading simple books. ~ Review by LS

Under the Quilt of Night by Deborah Hopkinson

This is one of my favorite poem books. Under the Quilt of the Night is a picture book written in poem format. A conductor is running with a group of slaves through water, woods, and finally, a house. They stay there for one night but have to keep running because the slave owners have found the house while searching for the missing slaves. My favorite part is when the group of slaves reach a house of runaways and they use the patterns on the quilt to let people know they hide runaways. I would recommend this book to people who like reading about history, equality, and good endings.   ~Review by DH

This book is a great book. The family learns that the relatives are coming. They started to clean around the house the house then they started cook. When it was time to clean up they swipe trash under the bed and they put anything in the closet and in the dresser. I think they had a great day. The dog and Bubba got in the mud so dad came to get them and made them take a bath. Then family came over. The ending was my favorite part because they got to go in the back of the truck with water and they were talking. And well the story is mostly about Bubba and Beau but it is so great. You should read it. I know you will enjoy it. It might well be your favorite book. I like it. Hope you like it.  ~Review by DJ

The book Bad Kitty helps you learn your ABCs.  Bad Kitty is about a kitty that turns from being a good kitty to a bad kitty because the owners ran out of kitty food. My favorite part of the book is when the owner didn’t have kitty/cat food and the cat wasn’t happy. I recommend this book to anyone who likes cats and I also recommend this book to people whose cat started to be mean when you were out of food.   ~Review by DG
